Our Color Guard serves as the society's community outreach face of the society participating in historical, patriotic and educational events across the state and within the Southern District SAR.  TNSSAR's Color Guard honors our patriot ancestors; promotes membership in the Tennessee Society of the SAR; and seeks to inspire the communities of Tennessee with the principles on which our nation was founded.  If interested in joining the TNSSAR's Color Guard, please use contact form below to contact our Color Guard Commander.  If you would the TNSSAR's Color Guard to support your event please complete the contact form below.

Youth Color Guard Awardees

The Youth Color Guard Award is awarded to a color guard member under the age of 18 who has served in the color guard in uniform for the past three years for at least three events in each of the years.
Tyler Bobenhausen is presented the first TNSSAR Junior Color Guard NSSAR medal by TNSSAR President PZ Horton during the Annual Conference 2025 held in Lebanon, TN.  Cliff Kent TNSSAR Color Guard Commander to the right.
