The Thomas Kilgore Chapter is a chapter of the Tennessee Society Sons of the American Revolution, and received our charter in March 2012. We are located in historic Springfield within Robertson County, Tennessee. Robertson County was named in honor of General James Robertson, the founder of the Cumberland Settlements. Thomas Kilgore established the first settlement in Robertson County on the Red River in 1779.
